After graduating in 1978 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, I began practicing in Hopedale, Massachusetts.  Some thirty years and one relocation later I’m still amazed at the power and effectiveness of specific manipulative adjustments.  Truly, discovery of the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic is a great gift to mankind.

I am grateful to the hundreds of patients I’ve already treated and to those I currently see and will care for in the future, both here at Lowey Chiropractic and at the DuffyHealthCenter in Hyannis, where I’m also on staff.  You can count on my pledge that I will always give one hundred percent effort on your behalf.  Also, please feel free to communicate any health care concerns you may have.  Our goal is to set you on the path to wellness, an equation that includes the structural, emotional, and chemical aspects of human life.

Dr. Lowey has put together an excellent and highly competent staff.  I’m sure you will all experience the wonderful “energy” evident when you are in the office.  All who work together here really care about each and every patient who comes through the door; so I’m happy to be part of the “Wellness Team.”

My manipulative skills include manual techniques, use of the activator instrument, receptor tonus, and sacro-occipital methods.  My undergraduate degree is from ColbyCollege in Waterville, Maine.

I have been working with Dr. Kevin since 1991.  I have a B.S. in Health Fitness from SpringfieldCollege and prior to working here worked as a Fitness Director at a Health Club.  I had only planned on working here temporarily because I was preparing on going to Chiropractic College myself, but while working here I realized that while I loved the profession, I didn’t want to be the doctor.  I liked Dr. Kevin’s vision of bringing Wellness to our community and knew that with my education background I could be an asset.  Through the years I have had the opportunity to learn and grow along with the practice through seminars, certification and hands on training.  I love being able to educate our patients about what chiropractic is and how it is vital for becoming truly healthy and well.  The addition of our Creating Wellness Program has been exciting to help our patients (and ourselves!) achieve optimal wellness in all dimensions.

My husband, Ben, and I live in Chatham with our 4 children, Austin, Samantha, Zack, and Hannah.  Watching and supporting their activities keeps us busy.  I also take pleasure in sewing, cooking, reading, photography, hiking, running and working out – any activities that can get me outside!

Carolyn O'Neill

Carolyn.JPGI was born and raised on Cape Cod and live in Brewster with my husband. I have three wonderful grown children with my first grandchildwas born in March of '09. I was first introduced to chiropractic in 1977 following a terrible car accident in 1975. After finding relief from the aftermath of complications having to do with my nervous and digestive systems, I knew chiropractic would be a way of life for my family and me.

I came to know Dr. Lowey in 1993 when my son needed treatment regarding his diet and blood sugar. One year later I began working with Dr. Lowey. I work in the front office; I will most likely be the first person you see that will welcome you to our office. I feel so fortunate to be part of a work environment that is positive, caring, and concerned for the health and wellbeing of all people. My personal experience has shown me the how limitless chiropractic is in healing the body, and the reason I love coming to work everyday is to see such miracles happen. I value all that I have learned about health and wellness, and look forward to helping and supporting you reach your goals and dreams.

Robbin Hyde

Robbin.jpgI have worked at Lowey Chiropractic since July of 2007, generally on billing. I come from a banking background having spent 10 years in several capacities in that industry.  I have an Associate in Science and certification in Mediation.

Working at Lowey Chiropractic is a great fit for me because I have lived most of my life seeking a healthy lifestyle. I have learned to be more successful at reaching that goal since joining the team.

I live in Mashpee with Dan, my husband of 31 years, and have 2 wonderful sons, Nick, 24, a Civil Engineer in NY and Jacob, 20, who lives in Colorado and attends Western State College majoring in Wilderness First Responder.  We have 2 cats and 1 dog that have filled our empty nest and our hearts.  I love the outdoors and all nature brings especially bird watching.  I enjoy rollerblading, skiing, hiking, shooting hoops, running, kayaking and anything that resembles playing!

 Carol Chichetto

carol_1.jpgI was trained as an x-ray technician in the field of “traditional medicine.”  It was at a time when we were taught that chiropractors were dangerous and no one should ever be treated by one!  Imagine my surprise when I found myself lying on a table at Lowey Chiropractic and beginning a new journey to wholeness!

As life altered my profession, I found myself working in a homeopath’s office and eventually here at Dr. Lowey’s.  I also discovered the healing power of meditation, acupuncture and massage. I am known by many names - “The Tuesday person” - the “Fill-in person” - or the “Hand-out lady.”

I am a people person and one of my greatest joys is greeting you, especially when you are entering for the first time and may be, like I was, a bit nervous.

Among my many life passions are working with youth, helping folks move through issues in their lives using conflict resolution and mediation techniques, observing nature in all forms, music, family, and being the housemaid to three cats! I am honored to work with all of the professionals here at Lowey Chiropractic and to witness your journey into healing.

I have been at Lowey Chiropractic for several years now and it still surprises me today!

I joined Lowey Chiropractic in 2008 as a wellness coach after working in public safety for over 30 years, most recently as Fire Chief/Paramedic of the Cotuit Fire Dept. I was born and raised on the Cape and have been a life long resident of Massachusetts. I live in Marston’s Mills and have two awesome children, Elise (19) and Kyle (23). I attended BarnstableHigh School and hold two Associates Degrees from Cape CodCommunity College. I have completed training in the Usui method of Reiki to the second level. Some of my interests include spending time outdoors, exercise, cooking, writing and learning new things.

My interest in helping people and patient care has been a life long pursuit. I was first treated by a Chiropractor when I was 11 years old. In recent years, following two significant injuries, I experienced how Chiropractic care accelerated my healing and improved my overall state of wellness. I strongly believe chiropractic care has played a significant role in my feeling healthier today than at any other time in my life!

I am grateful to be working in an environment that provides care in such a loving and professional way. I am excited about the Creating Wellness program and how it can help us achieve a life of wellness in all dimensions! I look forward to helping YOU thrive in a life of wellness!
